Oil type There is not much difference between the synthetic and mineral bases relative to the gear box and the economic advantages, but the mineral is more profitable. Semisynthetic oil is used in heavily loaded gears and mechanisms where EP characteristics are required.

OEM specification Many manufacturers have additional requirements for the oils that are used in their units. Only when units are used with the corresponding oil specifications they take full responsibility for the manufacturer. For this purpose, some manufacturers compile lists that specify all tested and accredited products.
